This is a completely positive review, with a warning. First, the appearance is stunning. The paint splatter effect and the rich colors make me just want to look at it forever. In fact, despite the fact that it doesn't work for my needs (see below), I haven't tried to return it because the thought of not having it, just as an art object, is unbearable. (I'm also really excited to give it to the first friend I know who needs this kind of wallet. So whoever from L&L reads these reviews, don't worry, I don't want any kind of replacement or refund or anything, lol.) As far as the leather, I'm not an expert but I find it very high quality and pleasant. It's fairly stiff but of course it will get more flexible with wear. And it smells amazing.
The problem is, I read the description that it "holds eight cards and folded cash" and just assumed this wallet had more of an "inside" even though there are no pictures indicating that. There are only two "openings" on this wallet, just as shown. I definitely believe you can cram four cards into each, but not in any kind of useful way. I would say if you carry 1.) 1-2 cards and a few bills, or 2.) 3-4 cards and no cash, this is the perfect wallet. It's well-made and gorgeous and it does exactly what you need it to do, perfectly. Also, if you usually carry more than that but sometimes only need a small wallet, or like to accessorize your wallet to your outfit, this model is a fantastic choice as a fashion item.
However, if you are looking for an all-purpose wallet to hold a lot of cards and cash, this one has a very small capacity, which is clear in the photos. If I had only looked closer before ordering, but honestly it's such a beautifully crafted item I don't quite regret my mistake.
